Jack's good friend Travis came over last night to take us all out to dinner. Joe and I don't get out much these days but we realized last night that we can take Jack out to dinner as long as we go early enough. Here are the boys enjoying the restaurant.


Travis filled us all in on news from the outside world and reflected upon the grey in his beard. We are slowly getting old, even if none of us feel like it. I still think I'm too young to have a child!









Finally a highchair arrived and Jack sat happily chewing on a silver rattle.














After dinner we showed Travis what Jack's dinner time looks like. You can see why we don't always feed him in the restaurant
















He really likes to get his hands in the bowls of food. I try to wait until they are almost empty at the very least.















He confuses the food with a sippy cup, wondering why the squash doesn't just pour into his mouth.





Today we're going to visit Grandma Gloria and Grandpa Tom. Joe and I are going to try and escape for a little bit to go see a movie. We'll see how that works.
