Picture Day!

Jack went to Sears on Friday to have his pictures taken. I was really impressed with the people there – I can’t believe the woman got him to smile so much. Here is my favorite picture from the set:

But I also like this one as well:

We were very early at the mall, so we had to hang around quite a bit. Jack really likes the mall, and he loves his stroller.

Saturday was a very early morning for us. Gone are the days where we slept in on the weekends. Here is Jack showing you what time it is:

seven am

Yep, that says 7 a.m., and we’re all about ready to go out the door to breakfast. This was mostly prompted by the fact that we ran out of coffee, and Joe was up with Mr. Not-So-Sleepy.

In the evening we went to church. I was surprised it wasn’t more crowded with the Pope’s death on Sunday. It was very strange during the part where they usually say “Together with John Paul our Pope and Tomas Olmstead our Bishop”, this time they said something about an Apostolic Administrator. It was sad to see his picture at the front of the church and have the priests discussing his death with such finality.

Yesterday Jack spent with his Grandparents in Chandler. It was lovely to have a day off and I know Tom and Gloria have fun with the little man. We are so lucky to have so many family members living so close.

Today we had lunch with my parents because they hadn’t seen Jack in almost a week. My dad thinks he grew 1/16th of an inch since he last saw him. Here is Jack with Grandpa Vince, who only gets to hold him when Grandma’s not around:

Grandma Sandee arrived and Jack was passed to her:

I had to go buy him 6-9 month sleepers today because the 3-6 month ones just aren’t cutting it anymore. Once again Joseph suggested we cut out the feet, but I opted for new clothes instead. Luckily Mervyn’s was having a sale!

Comments:
Jack's face looks great - what cleared up the rash? Did I miss that?

Love the cloud pic!

I must have forgotten to mention it. The doctor suggested Hydrocortisone cream, which clearly states on the label not to give it to children under 2. But it worked like a charm and not only is he a prettier baby, he's much much happier.
