Mall Rats
Yesterday Jack and I met my parents at the mall. We've officially become mall people because it's so easy to do with a baby. We ate at Nordstrom's Café, which is actually quite good. My mom and Jack really get along:

I took Natala's advice and set up a smugmug account. This is in lieu of going to Osco and printing the pictures myself, which is not an easy prospect with the little guy in tow. So I ordered 30 prints, a few duplicates, and I think it cost around $13 – not bad. We'll see how the pictures turn out when they get here.
Jack did not sleep well last night – I put him down at 7, he was back up at 8:30. I kept putting him down, he kept waking back up. I think between 11 and 2 he slept a total of 20 minutes. Julie's pediatrician told her that nursing babies will still get up every 4 hours to feed until they have solid food, but that doesn't explain why he can't stay asleep at all. It's very frustrating, and it makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong. (Which is only perpetuated by everyone telling me I must be doing something wrong.)
Today we have no plans so far, other than we'll probably go for a walk later and enjoy the fabulous weather.

Brooke - you are doing nothing wrong. I repeat - YOU ARE DOING NOTHING WRONG! Every baby is different. Jack will hit his stride one day and it all will fall into place. Quit worrying!
I'm pretty sure you're doing something very wrong, but it's just as likely that having two USC grads in the family have Jack in fits. Perhaps if he spent more time with his good buddy Travis, he'd be more at peace with the world.
