Jack and I bounced out of bed this morning and headed up to my mom's house in North Scottsdale. Today was cookies and babies with Kim and Julie – my mom was going to make cookies with Gemma while the three of us took the babies to knit for a spell at Jessica Knits. Last night was a horrible night, sleeping wise. I may try the formula again tonight because I am pretty tired and even if it's only 4 hours that's a lot more than the hour at a time I got last night. It's so bad now that I'm not certain it is safe for me to drive.

Joe has been in trial, and therefore away from home for about a week. I don't think I ever realized how much he did to keep me sane. Usually in the morning he hangs out with the guy for a little bit, and when he gets home at night they spend some time together as well. Without this small amount of a break in the day I have been pretty overwhelmed. Fortunately they sent the case to the jury this afternoon, so I can expect Joe to be back starting tomorrow.

Someone told me tonight that their baby didn't sleep until he was six months old. I cannot think about this. I may seriously lose my mind if that happens.
