Peace Descends on the Adams Household
The doctor's advice seems to have helped, Jack is back to his normal happy self and sleeping in his bassinet. Joe and I feel almost normal today after getting some sleep and not having to comfort a screaming baby all night long.
My mother came over yesterday and cleaned our house and did all the laundry. She really saved our lives. I think if she hadn't shown up we would have all perished in unhappiness. Here she is giving Jack a bottle of his formula supplement.
Our neighbors hired this company to come and set up our front yard full of plastic storks. I thought it was so clever. We woke up in the morning and all these birds covered our lawn, then last night they came and gathered them all up. Here's what it looked like:
And a picture of Jack getting ready for his first trip to the doctor yesterday:
And one with the dog my mom gave him as a gift – I think the dog is bigger than he is!
Julie stopped by yesterday – I should have taken a picture of Mac! I can't believe how big he is after only three weeks. I want Jack to just stay small like he is, I'm afraid he's just going to grow up too fast. Julie of course looks great – I guess she only has 12 pounds left to be at her pre-pregnancy weight. I'm not going anywhere near a scale unless I have to!

Nice pics. Glad you are getting some rest. As for the second photo with mom, aren't you concerned that your dog is going to infect Jack with Ebola? You know that because miniature pinchers were originally bred in West Africa they are carriers of this dreaded disease.
